Dubai Visa Guide for Indian Passport Holders
By the Idea Holiday team · 4 min read
Short answer
Most Indian passport holders need a UAE tourist visa arranged before they travel. Our partner's 30-day single-entry visa costs about ₹7,149 per traveller (approx.). Confirm the exact amount when you book, since the government and service charges can change.
Documents you need
Passport with the covering page (the page with your details), one clear passport-size photo, your PAN card, a confirmed return ticket and a confirmed hotel voucher. Your passport should also be valid for at least six months from your travel date.
When to apply
Apply at least one to two weeks before you fly, so the visa is ready and your flight and hotel match the dates on it. Idea Holiday collects the documents and tracks the application for you.
Visa on arrival
Some Indian travellers who hold certain foreign visas or residence permits may be eligible for entry on arrival. The UAE authorities decide eligibility, and the sources disagree on the details, so do not plan a trip around it. Apply for the visa in advance.
Good to know
The visa covers a 30-day single stay. Keep the hotel voucher and return ticket with you when you travel, since immigration can ask for them. If you change your flight or hotel, tell us so the documents still match.
