Cancellation Policy

Cancellation charges depend on the suppliers in your package (hotels, airlines, trains, transport and activity providers). The exact schedule for your trip is written in your quote and booking confirmation. Where it is silent, the general rules below apply. For when and how refunds are paid, see our Refund Policy.

1. Land packages (hotels, transfers, sightseeing)

• More than 30 days before arrival: advance amount minus a service fee and any non-refundable supplier charges.
• 15 to 30 days before arrival: up to 50% of the package cost.
• 7 to 14 days before arrival: up to 75% of the package cost.
• Less than 7 days before arrival or no-show: 100% of the package cost.
• Peak season, festival and long-weekend bookings, and hotels or tours marked non-refundable, may be non-refundable from the day of booking.

2. Flights, trains and visas

• Airline and railway cancellation and change fees are set by the carrier and are passed on in full, plus any service fee.
• Visa fees and processing charges are non-refundable once the application is submitted, including when the visa is refused.
• Travel insurance premiums are non-refundable once issued.

3. How to cancel

Send your cancellation request in writing by email to info@ideaholiday.com or WhatsApp to +91 96967 77391 from the number used for the booking. The date we receive it counts as the cancellation date (working hours: 10 am to 7 pm IST, Monday to Saturday).

4. Changes by you

Date or hotel changes are subject to availability and supplier fees, and may change the price. Ask us before you travel.

5. Cancellation or change by us or suppliers

If we have to cancel a confirmed service or the trip cannot run, you can choose an alternative of equal value, a credit note, or a refund of the amount recoverable from the supplier for the unused service.

6. Services not used

Meals, sightseeing, hotel nights or activities you choose not to use during the trip are not refundable.
